Pattie Boyd's trench coat on Stardoll?

So,I was reading one of  Maureen's posts  which inspired me to do this.Well,I was looking for some Pattie Boyd pictures online and I found this .This instantly made me think of one of the DKNY trench coats I own.Below, you can see both versions. They look pretty much alike.Sadly, this trench coat  is not on sale anymore since Stardoll stopped selling DKNY :(But,if you have more than 500 starpoints or if you are a superstar then you can actually buy it on StarBazaar. They are pretty expensive, for instance this trench was sold to me for about 15 stardollars and I was lucky. Now,as I'm looking for more DKNY,they cost even more.If you are decided to buy this trench coat, please make sure you check every offer out there. Some people are kind enough to sell it for a good price. This is it guys, hope you enjoyed my post.Don't worry,I will be posting more makeovers,make-up tutorials or random things like this,ha ha.

Which one do you like the most?

Linda McCartney How-to Look

Hi! Me again!

Well, I must confess that I also planned to do a Linda McCartney look thing, too. I mean, she was the perfect example of a "preppy" but cool 60s chick. Go Linda!

Here it is, done on Heather, or AKA LindaMcCartney. (it's a tribute account thing--- check it out!)

Makeup How-to:
You will need:
-Black lengthening mascara
Yes, that's right! Only one thing! You really don't need much, because if you know who Linda was, you know that she rarely wore makeup in the 60s.
First, apply some mascara to the top lashes.
Last, make sure that your lip color is pale-ish or pink. You know, natural!
Want to dress like a very casual Mrs. McCartney?

Here's a typical look. Very laid back.
You will need:
-White button-down blouse (Stardoll) (Not shown)
-Cashmere sweater (Stardoll)
-Wide-legged jeans (Fudge)
-heeled loafers (I dunno where I got them... possibly from Stardoll) (Linda is shown wearing moccasins, but if you Google her you will find her in loafers)
Face it, anyone can get the Linda McCartney look. You really don't need makeup, and you don't need to be a super-star to snag all of these clothing items!
To nail the actual "Linda look" you will see that Linda McCartney has a lot of really exotic and really great clothes. Mostly, it is light denim, you know?
IN REAL LIFE:
The look is an acceptable "around the house" and casual look, if you want to wear it in real life. Jeans are not hard to come by, and neither are loafers and collared shirts. I wear it around a lot, because it's not trashy (for example, would you wear Abercrombie sweatpants when you are casually hanging out with friends? Those are acceptable for the house, but not socially. Actually Abercrombie and Aeropostale and even Hollister are frowned upon in the fashion industry!)
Enjoy!

How-to Maureen Starkey Look

Hey! Yes, it's me again, Maureen Super-Supreme...

Well, my look, as I realise, is very similar to Maureen Starkey's look, and if you are a Beatle fan or a Beatle wife fan, then here's a how-to!

Besides, I thought it'd be a nice tribute, considering a few days ago, December 30, was the 16th anniversary of her death.

First, you can see, she has dark hair. Dark hair with bangs. That's an easy cut to ask for, but if you have curly or wavy hair you have to straighten it (in real life, that is). On Stardoll, there's an easy alternative for non-Super Stars. I may be seen sporting it when my SS membership runs out! XD
For the make-up, you will need:

-Black Kohl Eye-liner (Dot)
-Black Volumising mascara (Dot)
-Black lengthening mascara (Dot) (optional)
-Luxe lipgloss (Luxe) (optional)

First, apply a heavy layer of the kohl eyeliner under the eye and above the eye, as shown. Maureen Starkey wore it very thick.

Next, apply the volumising mascara. It makes it pop a bit more. If you want to, you can apply the lengthening mascara.
Finally, add the lipgloss. You don't need to if you have pink-ish or pale lips already.

Wanna dress like Maureen? Here's how to do the outfit:

You will have to search around for the items I have here. Here are the items:
-black boots (Fallen Angel)
-Tights (Fallen Angel, or they come with the suite)
-Shorts (Pretty in Pink)
-Basic Black Tee (Stardoll)
-Necklace (Glamrus)
-Boyfriend jacket?? (Stardoll) (Not shown, but I own it)
Just do it as shown!
The makeup also applies to real-life, too, and I'm sure you can find the clothing items anywhere, if you want to use it in real life! Very basic items. The choker may be hard to come by, and a belt as such might, too. If you realise it, my Stardoll isn't wearing a belt :/
Anyway, good luck!

PPQ of Mayfair Gold Coat

Hello all!

Have any of you checked out the new "PPQ of Mayfair" collection in the Starplaza yet? It's really pricey, but it has some nice stuff. The one that stuck out most to me was the Gold Coat, which looks like the one Lady Linda McCartney wore at her wedding in 1969. The PPQ coat is by far nicer, but there is a resemblance, in my humble opinion...

So I tried it on my friend Heather. I went to her house yesterday and we logged onto her account, which is LindaMcCartney. and it is a tribute account. Stop by sometime, it's really cool! Anyhow, we went to Starplaza and tried it on with the "same" outfit Mrs. McCartney had worn to her wedding back in '69.

Pretty freaky, huh? Hah, I think it's rather cool...

What do YOU think?

Oh by the way... DISCLAIMER: I did not take the photos of Paul and Linda and Heather (duh!), I found them elsewhere on the internet.
